It’s time once again for the wearing o’ the green, and all the shamrocks and leprechauns you can handle. Whether you plan to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday, March 14, or Tuesday, March 17, it’s time to get your battle plans in order. First and foremost, you’ll want to figure out how to make it through without A) puking your guts out, B) punching somebody out in a bar, or C) ending up with a DUI. We can’t really help you with the first two, but as for drinking and driving, we’ve got some advice: Don’t do it — not unless you’d like to rack up $10,000 to $15,000 in court costs, legal fees, and lost wages. Get yourself a designated driver, hire a limousine (which is quite affordable when you split it with your buds), or staple yourself to the couch and celebrate at home. If you decide to go out, here are some establishments that celebrate Irish culture all year. |
