Happy hour is a marvelous invention. It’s the chance to relax at the end of the day, have a drink and some appetizers, and gain a much-needed attitude adjustment. The only problem is knowing where to go; even with a discount it’s tough to part with your paycheck. Lucky for you we’ve found a few establishments worthy of your cash. If you’d like something to nibble with your drinks, there are several restaurants serving up gourmet food at fast-casual prices. The California Cafe’s tapas menu features such delights as Buffalo sliders, herbed garlic fries, flatbreads, Thai BBQ spareribs, and truffle mac and cheese, all priced at $5 or less. If your cravings run south of the border, head to Lime in Greenwood Village. Every Tuesday you’ll find tacos for just $1.00. If you’re still not sated, you can shift to Croc’s Mexican Grill. On Wednesdays, they’ve got 99-cent tacos and $1.99 margaritas from 4 p.m. to close. If a slice is more the order of the day, Abo’s |
Pizza in Centennial has your back. Swing by for $1.00 slices and drafts Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Note: Like everything else in life, menus and specials are likely to change at any time. Don’t delay; get out there and get happy! |
